Dirty/Clean Dishwasher Magnets

I just added this dirty/clean dishwasher magnet to my Etsy store. I also have it available in purple, green, and black and white. I can also make them any color to match your kitchen decor. I've sold all of these magnets that I listed before, so I decided to make some more and try to sell them again. Here's the link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/50547134/blue-dirtyclean-magnet. Let me know what you think about these magnets. Thanks! Also, if you look at my Etsy shop and have any other advice on how to improve my shop, please let me know. I'm always looking for ways to improve.

Monday Savings

At CVS on Saturday I spent $2.83 and saved $13.24! Gold Emblem can vegetables were $.49(charity), Colgate Total $2.77 + $1 coupon + $2 extra bucks, Mitchum Deoderant $2.99 + $.75 coupon + $1.00 CVS coupon + $1 extra bucks(my son says he now has enough deoderant until he moves out since I always buy it when it's on sale since it doesn't expire), and I got a coupon from the CVS email for a free pack of travel wipes. I also had $4 extra bucks from last week to help pay for it.

At Smart and Final today I spent $5.90 and saved $3.42. Asparagus was $1.99/pound(and it's the really thin kind that we like), cantaloupe was $.25/pound(my whole cantaloupe was only $.84!), and ice cream cups for $2.99.

At Albertsons today I spent $16.73 and saved $6.96. The savings is deceiving because I also had to buy toothpaste for my daughter. She likes the Kids Sensodyne Pronamel and we looked at Walmart, CVS and Smart & Final and none of those stores had any. Finally, I found the toothpaste at Albertsons on clearance(we figure the toothpaste is being discontinued - I will look it up online later), so I bought the three that were left. So anyway, sliced olives were on sale for $1.00 and raspberries for $1.99 each container.

Friday Savings

Today at Walmart I spent $88.28 and used $9.80 in coupons. I know this is more than I usually spend, but it was the end of the month and I wanted to use some coupons before they expired. 2 of the coupons were for 2 packs of sponges each, so I now have 24 sponges - enough to last for quite awhile, so I won't need to buy any more soon. I also had a coupon for $4 off 2 Gillette deoderants, which made one of them only $.24. So, I won't have to buy my husband deoderant for awhile either. So, sometimes the extra expense in one trip is worth it, if the savings is worth it in the long run.

At Ralphs I spent $8.50 and saved $28.20! I am so excited about this great savings. I think it's one of the most savings I've ever managed to accomplish at one store! General Mills cereal was on sale for $1.99 + I had four $1 coupons. 2 were $1 off one cereal, making them only $.99. 2 were $1 off 2 cereals making them $1.49. Also, these were the big 18 oz. cereals, not the 12.8oz. cereals the deals are usually for. Gatorade was on sale for $.69. So, I ended up with 6 boxes of cereal and 4 Gatorade bottles. I would have bought more, but the limit was a total of 10.

Monday Savings

I know it's Wednesday, but I haven't had a chance to enter my savings yet this week. My son had 2 appointments at Children's Hospital Mon. and Tues. and he had to have lab tests done today, so we've been busy. So, anyway, here are my savings.

At CVS I spent $22.43 and saved $22.27. Colgate toothpaste was $.88, eggs were $.88(we got lucky with the eggs because they were all out and just as we approached the cooler, we saw the guy with the eggs behind us), chips(like Pringles) $1.00, buy 1 get one for $.01 on various candy, 3/$5 Poptarts + $1 coupon, and $8.97 Shick Hydro razor + $4 extra bucks for next time + a mail-in rebate. I also had a coupon from the internet for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more.

At Smart and Final I spent $5 and saved $4.64. Green beans were $.89/pound, green grapes $.89/pound, and Dole juice $1.99.

At Albertsons I spent $11.96 and saved $14.73. Goldfish crackers were $1.00, Hillshire Farms sausage $1.99 + $1 coupon, and while there we noticed some honey buns and donuts for $.99.

Friday Savings

Today at Walmart I spent $71.95 and had $4.20 in coupons. I'm glad I always bring my coupons with me because I had a coupon for the ham I bought, and I didn't realize Walmart had that brand until I was at the store. I spent a little more today at Walmart because my husband was with me and he always finds something additional to buy and I had to buy some things for my dad for Father's Day.

At Vons today I spent $13.96 and saved $15.51, which is 53%. 2 pounds of strawberries was $1.99, Sargento sliced cheese was $1.99 + $.55 coupon which was doubled, and Hot/Lean pockets were $1.50. I also received a 24oz. free Safeway Select salsa(was $2.50) from a coupon mailed to my home - if I spent $10. I will put this in my charity box.

At Ralphs I spent $12.14 and saved $14.82, which is 55%. Peaches were on sale for $.77/pound(I had to wait in line for these!), cauliflower for $.99/pound, Pepperidge Farm cookies(my husband's favorites) $1.99, and Wheat Thins and Triscuits $1.88 + coupon for $1.

Monday Savings

I did really well at CVS on Saturday! I spent $1.34 and saved $10.58! Dawn was on sale for $.97 + $1 coupon(could only be used for $.97), Van Kamp pork and beans $.50, and Gold Emblem noodles for $.88. I had $4 in Extra Bucks earned last week, so that's why I didn't have to pay much. Next week I won't have such a great deal because I didn't earn any Extra Bucks this week that I can use next week.

Today at Albertsons, I spent $25.83 and saved $26.28 - not bad, about 50%. Minute Maid orange juice was on sale for $1.88, zucchini for $.99(I can't wait until our zucchini grows so I won't have to buy any for awhile), Danimals for $2 + $1 coupon, $.89 for Albertsons kidney beans, and all for $1.75 each if you bought 5 or 10 products: Keebler fudge shoppe cookies, 12 ct. poptarts, nutrigrain and mothers cookies.

Friday Savings

Today at Walmart, I spent $54.93 and had $1.95 in coupons. I know, it wasn't very many coupons because I bought a lot of store brand products that were cheaper than name brand products even with a coupon. The lady checking out 2 people in front of me must have had at least 20 coupons. I wanted to talk to her and compare notes, but I was too far away.

At Vons today, I spent $13.41 and saved $21.89, which is 62%! Blueberries were on sale for $1.50, $1.49 Safeway frozen fruit bars rain check from last week, $1.49 Tree Top juice, $.49 Kraft Mac and cheese(charity), $1.49 Chex Mix + $.50 coupon which was doubled, $1.49 4 pack of Dannon yogurt, and a coupon for a free store salad dressing with my $10 purchase. Some ladies at church told me yesterday that you can freeze berries by washing them and laying them on a cookie sheet, and then putting in the freezer. Once frozen, you can put them in baggies and freeze. I will have to try it. Have any of you ever tried freezing berries, or any other fruit?

At Ralphs, I spent $5.31 and saved $12.32! Cherries were on sale for $1.49/pound and Yoplait yogurt was 10 for $4 + $.50 paper coupon + $.50 ecoupon.

COVERGIRL presents the classic smoky eye with makeup artist Molly Stern

Here is a YouTube video about how easy it is to apply the Covergirl Shadowblast eye shadow I received to try(as a BzzAgent), that I've told you about before. It's pretty quick and easy to apply; the video is only one minute long. Let me know what you think.

Friday Savings and Monday Savings

I have to combine both days of savings again because it was a busy dance competition weekend. So, anyway, here's my savings:

On Friday, at Walmart, I only spent $47.36 and my parents came over for dinner. I just tried to use meat I already had, to keep the costs down. I only had $2 in coupons.

At Vons I spent $18.38, and saved $30.99, which is 63%! That was great! Keebler cookies were on sale for $1.65, Skippy for $1.49, Dole juice $1.88, Cheerios and Frosted Flakes $1.49 + $1 and $.55 coupons which were doubled, Caprisun $1.49, Kraft mac and cheese $.49 + $.55 coupon which was doubled, and Gogurt and Trix $1.99 + $.80 coupon which was doubled. I love those double coupons! I also received free rice and frozen vegetables because of coupons I received from Vons, in the mail.

At Ralphs I spent $7.67 and saved $8.19, just about 50%. Broccoli was $.99, Cool Classics ice cream cones $2, red grapes $.88/pound, and red apples $.99/pound. Not too bad of a deal, and most of it was nutritious too!

On Saturday, at CVS, I spent $3.58 and saved $24.87, which is 86%! Now, that's the best deal I've ever had. Gold Emblem pasta was $.88(charity), Goldfish were buy one get one free, Ajax $.99(charity), Ban $2.99 + $2 extra bucks for next time +$1 coupon(so it was like getting it for free), and Suave kids $2 + $2 extra bucks for next time. I also had $15 worth of extra bucks that I had earned last week. 12 items for about $3, not bad!

On Monday, at Smart and Final, I spent $6.79 and saved $4.06. Their 10 lb. rice is always at an everyday low price of $3.79, cantaloupe was $.33/pound, white onions $.50/pound, and nectarines $.69/pound.

At Albertsons, I spent $14.69 and saved $11.06. Strawberries and raspberries were buy one get one free, Chef Boyardee, Hunts ketchup, and Hunts pudding were buy 10 for $.80 each(some for charity), and honeydew for $.69/pound.

I know I bought a lot of fruit this week, but not all of it was ripe yet, so if they don't all become ripe at the same time, I think we'll be able to finish it all before it goes rotten. I hope!

Monday Savings

So, it's actually Tuesday savings due to Memorial Day, but here they are anyway. At CVS I spent $10.52 and saved $22.49! This was an exciting deal! I'm sure my kids get tired of hearing me share my savings with them, but this was such a great deal, I had to tell them about it. I'm trying to teach them how to save in the future. So anyway, M&Ms were $1.98 + buy 2, get 1 free coupon, eggs $1.49, Gilette men's body wash $4.00 + $4.00 extra bucks + buy one get one free - so I actually got paid $4 to buy 2 of these, and Blade 5 Razor $6.99 + $6.99 extra bucks. I used $3 in extra bucks coupons earned last week and $4 off $20. Note: make sure you hand the cashier the $4 off $20 first, because if I would have given her my other coupons first, it would have been less than $20 and the coupon wouldn't have worked.

There weren't any good deals for me at Smart & Final this week.

At Albertsons I spent $$11.10 and saved $12.32. Chips Ahoy were on sale for $1.88, Kraft bbq sauce for $.69(charity), Kraft mayo. and miracle whip $1.99, Welches juice $2.19, and bell peppers for $.79. I now only buy bell peppers when they're on sale because even at Walmart, they're normally $1 or more and I think that's too much to pay for a bell pepper. Especially, when my kids pick them out of their food. I bought it this time because the pork chop crockpot recipe I'm making on Wednesday only has onions, tomato sauce, and a couple of other ingredients, so the bell pepper really is needed for flavor.
