Friday Savings

Yesterday afternoon at Walgreens, I spent $4.52 and saved $21.89. Freezer popsicle bars(like Otter Pops) were on sale for $.59, Pringles 3 for $4 + $1 coupon, Act II popcorn(2 for us 2 give to charity) 4 for $1, Walgreens aluminum foil $.69(give to charity), Mead envelopes $.69(2 for us & 2 give to charity), and Stayfree(give to charity) $2.99 + $1 coupon + $2.99 register rewards. I also had $8 in register rewards to use from last time.

At CVS, I spent $15.23 and saved $14.94. Dove men care deodorant(give to charity) was on sale for $.99, Kleenex(give to charity) $.88 + $.50 coupon, Bumblebee tuna(2 for us & 2 give to charity) $.59, and Blink Tears(give to charity) $7.99 + $7.99 extra bucks + $1 coupon. I didn't have any extra bucks to use this time, that's why the savings isn't so spectacular.

Today at Walmart, I spent $81.76. I had $5.30 in coupons and a $25 gift card I earned from mypoints.com. Besides my normal groceries, I also bought some Easter candy and toys that were 50% off and mouthwash and lotion. All of that was about $18.00.

At Vons, I spent $16.98 and saved $22.11, which is 57%. Cheezit and Keebler cookies were on sale for $1.49 + $.55 coupon, Kraft dressing(1 for us & 1 give to charity) $.99 + $1 coupon, Barilla pasta(1 for us & 1 give to charity) $.88, and Mission flour tortillas $.99. I was also going to buy Safeway Select premium ice cream on sale for $2.50, but I thought it was the 1.5qt. size, only to find out it was a tiny size, maybe 1 pint. So, luckily, Lucerne 1.5 qt. ice cream was on sale for $2.50, so I bought that instead.

At Ralphs, I spent $14.33 and saved $24.82. Kelloggs cereal(1 give to charity and 2 for us was on sale for $1.98 + $1.00 coupon, Goldfish $1 + $.35 coupon which was doubled, Ralphs rice cakes $1, and Oral B toothbrush(give to charity) $1 + $1 coupon. I also had a $5 gift card I earned last week to help pay for the groceries.
