My Stater Bros. and Albertsons Shopping Trips

Yesterday at Stater Bros., I spent $16.85 and saved $15.48, which is 48%. Here's what I bought:
Zucchini $.69/pound
2 Hillshire Farms sausage $5.00 - $.55 coupon = $4.45
2 Gogurt $1.99 each = $3.98 - $.55 coupon = $3.43
3 Suave shampoo $.99 each = $2.97
1 Lipton Onion soup mix $.99
2 Suave kids shampoo $1.49 each = $2.98

I went through the 15 item or less aisle, even though I don't usually do that because it takes awhile since I have coupons and check for the right prices; but the other lanes were really full. Well, of course, there was a problem. The $.99 shampoo rang up as $1.99. First the clerk thought I didn't have the right amount. I did. Then she sent the bagger with my daughter to check the sign where we got it. It said $.99. She wanted to ring up the other shampoo instead, but I told her no because that was $1.49. So, she went to the shampoo aisle, got another shampoo, and rang that one up 3 times. That rang up correctly. Meanwhile, the customers behind me were not very happy. I apologized, but the clerk told me I shouldn't have to apologize, she should because it was the store's fault, not mine. That was very nice!

At Albertsons, I spent $12.47 and saved $30.00, which is 71%. Here's what I bought:
1 Miracle Whip $1.99 - $.25 coupon = $1.74
7 Barilla pasta $.75 each = $5.25 - 2 $.75 coupons = $3.75
2 Yosicles $2.49 each = $4.98 - 2 $1.00 coupons = $2.98
Free donut from game tickets
2 Dole Juice $4.00
