As a Purex Insider, I was sent a package of Combat Ant Killing Bait Strips to try. However, all of the opinions expressed here are my own. These new bait strips have the same killing power found in Combat Gels, but they're now in a more discreet design. The strips have an adhesive backing so it's easy to hide out of sight and keep out of reach of your kids and pets. They are easy to apply and aren't messy. The gel bait formula contains food and water that roaches and ants look for, and has Fipronil, which is a fast acting insecticide that starts killing within hours once the insect has come into contact with the bait. These Combat Bait Strips are different than sprays because they are made to kill the nest and colony that you don't see, so they attack the source of the problem. You just put the bait strips where you've seen ants or roaches. You should use all the bait strips at one time and then replace them once all the bait is gone(or according to package directions). You can buy Combat Killing Bait strips at Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Family Dollar, Dollar General and Publix. They come in 5 count Ant and 10 count Roach varieties. If you'd like to know more information, please visit the Combat website.
Luckily, I haven't had a need for these Combat Ant Killing Bait Strips yet. We have ants every year, though, so I'm sure I'll be needing them soon. I like the idea of these strips because I hate using the messy, smelly sprays with my kids around. Plus, the sprays always end up on my hands and all over the wall or wherever I'm spraying. Plus, I just don't feel comfortable using the spray in the kitchen. So, I think these strips are going to be a fantastic solution. They're not going to be messy and get all over my hands and everywhere else. Plus, since they're adhesive, they'll stay in place and I won't have to worry about them falling somewhere they shouldn't where my kids can find them.
