This is me before using the flat iron. You can see my crazy hair! As I've aged(I'm in my 40s), my hair has thinned and also become more coarse and crazy due to some gray hairs. I use a leave-in conditioning spray and also recently started using a coconut leave in treatment, but my hair still looks out of control. Since I've had to return to work as a sub, it would be much better if my hair looked more professional, rather than like I just got out of bed and didn't bother to brush it.
I don't know anything about styling hair, so I was so happy to see how easy it is to use this flat iron. All I have to do is spray my hair with a heat protecting oil, select about a 2 inch segment of hair, and then slowly run the flat iron down that section of hair. It made a sizzling noise when I first started using it, I guess because of the oil, so that startled me a bit, but I got used to it. My daughter told me I was going down my hair too fast, and that I needed to go slower. So, I took my time and it worked!
So, this is me after using the flat iron! What a difference! The product description says your loved ones will notice, and that's definitely true. When I walked downstairs to show my husband and 8 year old son my straightened hair, my son wondered who this new person was in our house! He said I didn't look like myself at all. It is amazing to me, that someone who doesn't know anything about styling hair, was able to get such great results the very first time! My hair looks much smoother, neater, and in control. I finally look professional. I am very pleased with the results and I know I will continue to get better results as I use the flat iron more and more. This is definitely a product that is going to become a regular part of my routine.
