The Under the Sea Holy Bible, NIrV is a perfect gift for children ages 6 to 10. Themes of underwater fun and sparkling fish grace the interior of this wonderful children’s Bible. The outside is covered in foil and sparkle. The interior has color inserts featuring whimsical underwater scenes with themes of God’s care and love for each of us and all of creation. It will inspire young readers to discover the word of God using the majestic features of ocean life. The wonders of God’s magnificent creation are evident all around us, but the beauty of life under the sea has been known to captivate and intrigue little readers with the awesome of God’s brilliant handiwork.
My kids are always excited when I receive a package, so they couldn't wait to open it! My 9 year old son thought this Bible looked really cool! Even my teenage daughter was excited about this beautiful Bible! The first page is the "This Bible Presented to," and has a cute dolphin and fish on it. On the other side is a colorful page with the Books of the Bible broken down into categories. The print is a nice size and this Bible should be easy for a child to read. There are also three colorful under the sea pages in the Bible. On them they have a prayer guide using your hand, the Lord's Prayer, Ten Commandments for Kids, Love Passage for Kids, Famous children of the Bible, and the ABCs of becoming a Christian(shown in the above picture). In the back is a dictionary, and a list of the great Bible stories along with Scripture references.
After looking through it, my daughter and I were so excited because we want to bring this Bible to the Sunday School class that we teach. We teach ages Kindergarten through 5th grade, and only a couple of the kids have a Bible. When we read Scriptures as part of the lesson, we have to borrow Bibles from the "big church." Now, we'll be able to bring this Under the Sea Bible that the kids will be excited to use, and it will be easy for them to read. We wish we even had more of them, because we'd love to be able to give every child their own Under the Sea Bible. Maybe we will someday, if it's in the budget.
