Covergirl NatureLuxe Review

As a BzzAgent, I was sent a bottle of Covergirl NatureLuxe liquid silk foundation and a tube of gloss balm to review. NatureLuxe is Covergirl's new luxury line of makeup. It is recommended by 3 out of 4 professional make-up artists. Covergirl refers to their new makeup as "luxury touched by nature." The foundation contains a touch of cucumber water and a hint of natural jojoba and rosehip extracts; and the gloss balm contains a blend of mango, shea and other natural butters.

I really like the Covergirl NatureLuxe liquid silk foundation. I like the fact that it has SPF 10 to help protect my face from the sun. The foundation is available in 14 different shades, and I picked the #350. It was a tad bit dark for my light skin tone, so next time I will pick a slightly lighter shade. When I apply this foundation, I feel like I'm applying really expensive makeup, rather than foundation that only retails for about $11.99. It feels so silky smooth as I apply it to my face. It also gives great coverage - it covered up all my acne(yes I still have acne at almost 40 years of age!) and my puffy eyes.

I also really like the Covergirl NatureLuxe gloss balm. It also has SPF 15 to protect my lips from the sun - I never thought about needing to protect my lips before. The gloss is great because it combines the color and shine of a gloss with the moisturization of a balm. This is available in 16 different shades, and I picked #245. This time I picked the right color - it was perfect for my lips and skin tone. This gloss is very easy to apply because of the shape of the tip and it did wonders for my lips! My lips are always chapped, but after I applied the gloss, they weren't chapped anymore. This is the first time I haven't had chapped lips in about 20 years! The gloss retails for about $6.49
