Monday Savings

Today at Stater Bros., I spent $14.25 and saved $28.79. Lunchables were on sale for $.75 + 2 $1 coupons, Kraft dressing(I will give to a charity) and bbq sauce $.75, Hillshire Farms sausage $2.50, Stater Bros. waffles $1.25, and I got a free gallon milk from a coupon I earned last time from the cereal promotion - it was $3.69.

At Albertsons, I spent $4.27 and saved $3.95, which is 48%. Miracle Whip was on sale for $1.99 + $.75 coupon. I also had to buy Kleenex pocket packs, which unfortunately, weren't on sale.

I also went to the Dollar Tree today because they have really great prices on cards, wrapping paper, and teacher gifts. Their greeting cards are only $.50, and they even had several different teacher cards to choose from. I also bought a 2 pack notebook set that will fit in a purse and 3 pens, and wrapping paper for my son's preschool teachers. My son wanted a puzzle, so I told him he could have one because tomorrow is his last day of preschool - he doesn't care that it only cost $1! :) I also bought myself a coupon organizer and I tried to buy a memo set. All of that for only $7.07! I say, tried to buy a memo set, because I had so many problems at the checkout. First, it rang up as $9 and something, which I knew should be around $7.50 + tax. The cashier realized she charged me twice for the wrapping paper, but when she took it off, it only rang up as $7.07. I stepped aside so she could ring up the other customers and found, that now she hadn't charged me for the memo pads. When I pointed it out to her, she just handed them back to me and said, "Merry Christmas!" That was nice of her, although I think she was just tired of me. :)
