As a Bzzagent, I was sent coupons to try 3 different Private Selection Products. The third product my family and I tried was the Private Selection Apple Cinnamon Crisp Tartlets Dessert. They also have Blueberry Peach Panna Cotta, Northern Spy Apple Crisp, Pineapple Upside Down Cake and a wide selection of Ice Creams (like Strawberry Harvest, Vanilla Bean and SeaSalt Caramel) available. The Private Selection products are available in the Kroger family of stores for about $3-5. I bought mine at our local Ralphs. These desserts have rich, delicious flavors, making them a divine indulgence.
The Apple Cinnamon Crisp Tartlets we tried are made with rome apples and cinnamon and are baked in a flaky crust, topped with a brown sugar oat crumble. There are 10 tartlets in each pack, and as you can see, they come in a nice organized tray. That's very convenient for us because we only wanted one each, and there are 5 of us, so we left the other five in the tray and put them back in the freezer for another day.
These tartlets are very easy to bake. You just place them on a cookie sheet - I placed them on a tin foil sprayed with Pam first, for easy cleanup. You bake them in an oven preheated to 375 for 12 to 14 minutes. They were done exactly when they were supposed to be.
They baked to a nice golden color and were absolutely delicious! All 5 of us liked it a lot. My husband, daughter and youngest son had their tartlet with vanilla ice cream, like the suggestion on the box. They really liked that and thought it tasted just like apple pie a la mode. We look forward to next weekend when we will probably eat the last 5 in the box.
If you would like to learn more about Private Selection products, please visit Kroger.com. My family and I will definitely be purchasing these again and will probably try another dessert - probably the ice cream. Yum!
