Plans for the Week

I am going to do my best to post every day this week. My kids had today off school, so that gives me a little more time to get things done since I'm not running back and forth to school.

Here's our Menu for this week:
Monday and Tuesday: Turkey pizza skillet, garlic bread, salad
Wednesday and Thursday: Pork chops with scalloped potatoes, rice, broccoli
Friday and Saturday: Three cheese chicken bake and zucchini

The garlic bread is really good and easy to make. Here's the recipe:

Golden Garlic Bread

1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 loaf(1 pound) French bread, halved lengthwise

In a bowl, combine the butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic and basil; mix well. Spread over cut sides of bread. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4 in. from the heat until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Cut into 3-in. pieces. Yield: 6-8 servings.
