I haven't shared my shopping trips in awhile, but my daughter was excited by how much we saved, so she suggested I write a blog post about it.
Saturday at Vons, I spent $17.50 and saved $31.33, which is 64%! Here's what I bought:
Mother's Oatmeal cookies normal price $3.99, sale price = $2.50
2 Libby's Corn normal price $3.76, sale price = $1.18
2 Pringles normal price $5.38, sale price = $2.98
Triscuit normal price $3.99, sale price - $.75 coupon = $.94
Wheat Thins normal price $3.99, sale price = $1.69
Triscuit normal price $3.99, sale price - $1.00 coupon = $.69
2 Swanson Chicken Broth normal price $3.18, sale price = $1.18
2 Chef Boyardee normal price $3.78, sale price = $1.76
International Delight Creamer normal price $4.79, sale price - $3.99 coupon = $-1.00
2 Dryers normal price $11.98, sale price = $5.58
So, this shows you how shopping using the sales from the store's weekly circulars and combining those sales with coupons, really does pay off. If you have any questions on how to do this, let me know.
What great deals have you got recently?
